![]() ![]() First, The drawings of the various canoes done by Dave Dillion are documentations. If I can get Delftship to provide plank developments it will allow me to use the stitch and glue method of construction instead of having to build and fair a mold. I have analysed some of the lines mathematically for fairness, and I suspect the old hull shifted a bit due to damage and repairs or plain old age. The plans are nice but the lines were taken from a old and much repaired hull rather than Rushton's original offsets. ![]() I want to reproduce the original lines as accurately as possible. Henry Rushton's Wee Lassie, a double paddle solo canoe, using the Adirondack Museum plans as a starting point. I created a new file if I input existing files the separate planks develop nicely. The manual says to put the planks on different layers but does not say how, at least in a way that I understand. When I ask for the plank developments it shows all the planks on one distorted development. I entered offsets for a hard chine hull and got a nice picture. I am using Delftship which I understand is what Freeship is called these days. ![]()
